Position Feedback Rotary Actuator
Lightweight, small-bore pneumatic actuator provides continuous position sensing.
Rotary potentiometer assembly mounted inside the actuator provides position feedback information.
Ideal for applications where the use of external magnetic position sensing switches is impractical; where variations in actuator rotation or speed are needed; where an operation requires constant monitoring of actuator position or where repeatability is required.

When combined with a Pneumatic Control System, the repeatability of the system can be achieved up to +/-0.5 of a degree at an average rotational velocity of 150 degrees per second

The new Pneumatic Control System is designed to control any pneumatic Bimba position feedback actuator including the Position Feedback Cylinder for linear motion and the Position Feedback Pneu-Turn for rotary motion

Typical applications include use as an interface between the Position Feedback Cylinder and a web tensioning or dancer arm controller.
Bimba - Rod Lock option
The Original Line Rod Lock is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is ideal for holding loads stationary at machine shutdown (drop prevention), as well as a failsafe device in counterbalance applications.
