The gripping cylinder has various functions :

-outside and inside gripping of work pieces

-opening and closing of doors and gates.

The tandem cylinder was developed for higher moments in longitudinal direction. This is achieved by mounting two yokes & carriages to obtain higher torque capability.

The cylinder extrusion is divided into two separate chambers , each having its own yoke and carriage assembly. Both yokes are connected via a mechanical bridge . The ZD design will double the output force due to the dual internal yokes.
